Green makes another splash in the Water Hygiene and Treatment Arena
On 1 July 2010, in line with the Company’s strategy of building a business focussed on its selected compliance markets (Water, Fire, Energy and Pest), the Company completed the acquisition of Pure Group Management Limited which trades as Water Pure Systems Limited.
With an annual turnover in excess of £4m, Pure currently provides a range of water hygiene and safety services, including Water Treatment Engineering, Air Hygiene
Building Services Commissioning, Consultancy Services, Compliance Activities and Mechanical Engineering to assist companies to comply with the Approved Code of Practice (L8) on minimising the proliferation of Legionella.
Announcing the acquisition, John Prowse, Chief Executive of Green Compliance plc, said: “Pure becomes the third water business to join the Group, which enhances our geographical coverage and range of services. With more than 150 directly employed staff and combined water turnover of over £12m, we believe this now establishes us as the UK market leader in the non utility owned water treatment and hygiene services area.”
